Rebuilding Diary

Today, we finally agreed the detailed specifications for the malt bins and mash tun (2.5 tonnes) with Forsyth's of Rothes. They've also identified a secondhand Porteus Mill and grain handling equipment (largely Buhler) which we intend to buy. Subject to funding, we hope to place the order formally in February 2012. We've been talking with Richard Forsyth (Snr) for several years now (he's a very patient man) so it's good for all concerned that work on the distillery plant will start soon.
